I had a print shop make this up for me; I got permission from the owner of my company (a Gator grad, no less) to hang this up out in the warehouse.



Gonna hang it up in the warehouse next week and see if the local paper wants to come out and do a story on it, take some pictures, etc...

EDIT: If anyone wants the contact info for the print shop that did this for me please let me know; they do great work. I am sure they could do a UConn BB champions banner, as well as ones for Wichita States Baseball championship, Tulane's 1998 championship, SMU's 81' and 82' titles, etc...

Is the Knight head no longer trademarked?

I didn’t think you could just print the logo on things.

The print shop might have an agreement with the University since they are also making much of the other merchandise being sold.

Also, the university is waging a propaganda campaign here. Going after a UCF Superfan would be bad PR. LEgally, the University would probably treat your banner as a lot of media companies and authors treat fan-fiction. "You love us, we love you, what you did is great, just don't go trying to make money off of it."

More than likely you agreed at some point that you owned or obtain permission for any copyrighted material used. It might have been small print on the webpage where you uploaded the image or a sign on the wall at the print shop.

Got it up today. Looks great. That said - if any other AAC teams win a national title in football, basketball or baseball I will offer to also put a similar one up right next to the UCF one. No expiration date on that offer either....
