Nothing like a four game conference win streak to anger the miserables

They keep looking sillier every day. Just wait until we lose a game next time. They will all be back in full throat.

Not me. Maybe you and your friend should look at my post before this one. I'm all aboard the #extendTubby express.

Choo-choo, mother[tr]uckers!!

Sorry, not exactly seeing the "talent." You have one shooter (Larrier), one guy that can create for himself (Adams) and zero guys that can get you a bucket off of a post up. That roster has gotten worse each year Ollie has been there. They need a total reset, in my opinion.

Agreed. UConn probably has twice as many 4- and 5-star players as Cincinnati and Wichita State, but that doesn't mean they are as talented.

Well when you have a bad coach it makes the players look a lot worse then they actually are.

Rick Pitino is available. Plus he brings a mobile strip club, abortion clinic, and 6 figure handshakes.

I wouldn't want him at my school, but I'm fine with him at UConn as long as it makes them relevant again. Pitino is done though... no doubt about it. If he wants to coach again, he's going to have to be an NBA assistant.

I will be curious to see if UCOnn actually pulls the trigger this offseason. I don't think they will.

If they did, Tommy Amaker would be a great hire.

Billy Donovan would be a home run hire if he gets canned in OKC this year. Unfortunately for UCONN, I think he has a 50/50 shot at one more year depending on how they play after the ASB.

Please don't legitimize the phony UCONN fan, BC Stookey.

Thanks.

RE: Ollie's replacement
Snyder has done better at Kansas St since coming back than you would think. He's been back 9 years now. Gone 74-42 and 48-31 in conference play. His last 9 years before was 81-32 and 47-25 in conference play. So while not quite as good as before, still much better than the 3 years when he was gone(17-20 and 9-15 in conference play). Still pretty good than what would be expected from a historicaly bad team.

I understand they have been decent since his return. But there is a fairly significant talent problem brewing, and a VERY significant transfer of power problem already in effect. You know that Curry guy that was in the middle of the giant crap-show that was the Tennessee football coach carnival? He left KState because of the mess. That's some next-level craziness.

wow, didn't realize he was already 75 years old(Calhoun). Only 2.5 years younger than Snyder. I thought Calhoun was a bit younger than that.

Hitachi Comm College fans seem obsessed with the term "flagship" on here, so I figure that the time is long overdue for an explanation of the word as they don't seem to understand the reference. The term "flagship" has nothing to do with men's basketball (although if we were using the term to identify the men's basketball team in the AAC with the best historic pedigree, it would be UConn - even though Kevin Ollie seems bent on destroying the program).

The term "flagship" usually refers to a state's land grand state university and also is used to identify the highest profile research university in a state. Currently, the only flagship university in the conference is UConn. So, UConn fans aren't really referring to sports when they use the term, they are referring the fact that UConn is a land grant state university. Here is a list of all flagship universities in the US:

Class dismissed.

You might have to if Chris Mack goes somewhere like Louisville, and Cronin takes a step up to Xavier.
