From around 2005 through 2014, we probably had that many in the bathroom at any point in time.

RE: UCONN attendance: 2417?!?!?
I'm not saying the attendance was good by any means, but based on previous games and how bad the roads were, I was actually surprised there was as many people as there were. I was able to get 7 people together in my truck and we made the trip, but in hindsight, I would not have recommended it for most. The interstates were fine, but the side roads were very icy.

BTW, they closed the Terrace Level and let everyone sit down lower.

Next home game will probably be higher than any game this season.

Man, I was there but as much as I’ve enjoyed going to games this season, it was a tough choice. It’s freaking brutally cold out there and the streets aren’t great. I thought it would be worse than it was though. I was concerned with the roads refreezing after the sun went down, but the major roads were ok.

I’m not surprised about the attendance, hell even schools are out.

Roads are fugged in most areas.

As far as southern drivers go.

That is an enormous crowd considering the circumstances.

It was a huge crowd for 8 pm Tuesday night in way below freezing temps with streets covered in ice.

This simply was one of those games where attendance numbers were irrelevant. We have had enough unquestioned attendance problems...no doubt.

But a big city university that plays its home games quite far away from most of the fanbase, in near zero temperatures with reported dangerous roads still lingering throughout the entire city, with many experiences of closed garages and dangerous conditions....this one gets a pure pass.

Beat Tulsa Saturday and we have a legitimate big home game January 27 with Cindy. Get 2700 for that and we have something.

That was more than we had against Providence back in 2004/5 in the ice. There is plenty of instances of attendance smack to talk about ourselves....this is not one of those instances.

I am suprised by the figure because I assume it includes season tickets sales like mine that are counted even when not used (I live out of town).

I was there and guessed 2500 so very close. For those always looking for the negative it was a decent crowd given the road circumstances. Hate it for the kids because I feel like there may have been 7-8k there which isn't great but bigger than most this year. Weather has not been the Tigers friend this year in either sport.

Even with the small crowd, it took me over an hour to get home. Streets around the Forum were terrible. The ramp going up to the parking garage was closed and everyone had to use the interior one. Lots of people that are hard core and rarely Miss were not there.

Really Really reaching here, if not wanting to risk life a lime to drive (in some places an hour) to see a basketball game makes people bad fans, then oh well. This is a bad game to measure attendance.

I think, with better weather, we would have had a decent crowd. I seriously considered watching it on TV, but decided to go. I totally understand anyone sitting this one out. Major thoroughfares were pretty good, but side streets were very slick in places. And it was bitter cold.

If we win at Tulsa, I think we’ll have a really good crowd vs. Cinci. It will still be decent if we lose, but I think fans will start getting behind this team if we are on a 5 game win streak..

I was guessing more than 2004, but less than what was announced not that I’m good at that sort of thing. That being said, those who were there were LOUD.

I totally understand not venturing out. Sometimes I question my own sanity.
