he will move to WR or defense is my best guess.

Coming out of high school this guys composite rating at 247 was north of .9650. We've never had a player rrated that high. If he lives up to most of that I suspect we're set at qb for at least two years.

That guy can fill Tony Pollards role. Very versatile.

because hes not very good at quarterback it seems. 6'0 200 lbs is a decent sized athlete. why stock pile him at qb when he could be potentially better at another position. i could be wrong he could be good at qb. but if you have any faith in the rating systems he was a 2 star qb and rated pretty low. he would be memphis' worst scholarship quarterback as adair was a 2 star but ranked nationally 2,553.

He will most likely want to move positions as well. Nobody wants to be 5th string at any position, especially knowing you have younger players in front of you on the depth chart...

yeah i could picture him taking the TP/Sam Craft role. however, i think gainwell fits that role better. depending on how he looks during spring ball, MND may just move to wide receiver or defense. we need safety help with cooks gone.

At least one of these guys will transfer. It happens. You get one in, you lose another.

True, and that's not a bad thing. Player gets playing time somewhere else, and we get to use the scholarship on another player.

High School QBs are generally the most athletic kid on the team. We need as many athletes as possible with a high football I.Q. He has several years to play. At 6’ 200lbs he could really grow in the weight room. We need hard hitting-athletic safeties and LBs. The old QB at Iowa St moved to ILB and had a ton of success. Mario could as well.

I think the CA. reported he was the 54th ranked player and the 2nd rated QB of his class. I am with you, I don't think we have had a player ranked that high---at least a QB. RB X man could have been but I can't remember. Looking back 5-7 years ago who would have thought that we could have signed the 2nd rated QB in the nation----unbelievable isn't it. Imagine if we could get into a so-called Power conference.

He was the #2 pro style QB in his class, right behind Josh Rosen. Depending on which recruiting site you look at he was around #65 overall.
