That's right! 04-cheers

Thank goodness Coach K pulled the Rocket starters with 3+ minutes left.

Nobody puts baby in a corner!

UB was only up by 3 at halftime but ended up winning by 28.

Second game in a row where the Bulls did not start strong... I'm a bit worried that one of these incomplete games will eventually bite us in the butt.

It's why teams don't go 18-0 in league play...When you are still averaging 90 points a game in conference i wouldn't worry too much. The defensive intensity was there in the first half, they just struggled a little offensively.

If EMU was (they weren't) hitting on all cylinders last night they should have beaten Akron by say 24 or 34. At one point in the 2nd half EMU had 10 blocks; Zips none.

For those not paying much attention to Zips' hoops this year, not only did they lose Big Dog, Cheatham, Robotham, Jackson to graduation or transfer but also lost two more.

Olojakpoke recently had heart surgery. Sayles didn't play either; out injured.

Had something like 7 scholarship players. Kostelac did not make anyone forget Big Dog. Did bring back memories of Matt Balkema for EMU.

Hope the Zip fans realize that 2017/8 is a big, big rebuilding year and they have redshirts getting ready for next season.

P.S. I was following the Vegas line on last night's game. The line DROPPED from EMU -8 to -6.5. The only ones I'd think to bet on the Zips would have been disgruntled EMU fans. Lol.

Oh, right. Go over to the Zips fanboard and you'll see there's still people there that think the Zips will win the MAC

Kent State was up by 63-49 with 9 minutes left, and got sloppy. Western Michigan tied it up 71-71 with 7 seconds left, and Kent's Mitch Peterson grabbed an offensive rebound and put Kent ahead 73-71 with 0.4 seconds left.

The west does appear a bit stronger top to bottom than the east this year, but nonetheless the west and wast are tied 6-6 in crossover games.

The west and east face off again tonight and tomorrow in all six match ups with four more cross over games on Tuesday.

Buffalo @ Western Michigan
Ohio @ Eastern Michigan
Central Michigan @ Bowling Green
Ball State @ Miami (OH)
Northern Illinois @ Akron
Kent State @ Toledo

I'm interested to see Buffalo @ Western Michigan tonight. Buffalo has struggled to play well there (both of Buffalo's NCAA tournament teams lost @ WMU by double digits). UB's last win there dates back to 2010-11 (UB actually won twice there that year - once in conference play and once in the CIT tournament). The game will be on ESPNU tonight @ 7 PM for those interested.

Should be a good game. Still at a point in the year where I am not sure who to root for tonight. Guess I'll just keep rooting for Toledo to win.

I guess the refs don't want to call any fouls on Western Michigan tonight. UB getting called for every ticky tack one though.

That over and back call on Massinburg is ridiculous too. He was a good two steps behind the halfcourt line when he passed back.

So everything worked against the Bulls tonight. WMU played a great game plan, the refs were calling ticky tack crap, and UB was being way too impatient with their shots. Certainly WMU could have won this one.

Overall glad to have escaped Kalamazoo with a win (first time since 2011).

Wilder had a horrible shooting night until he made a couple after the game had already been decided. That didn't work against the Bulls. Nonetheless, I understand that the Bulls are the class of the conference.

Yea some of our guys were really off tonight as well. Three were really weird sequences where WMU and Buffalo would rub back and forth taking bad shots

When you’re as important as UB the refs always look to screw you. UB could win by fifty and our friend would whine.
