Congrats to the young man... hope he can be somewhat consistent from here out as his threat from behind the 3 line is a major help for Gary and Co. inside.

I've never seen a player who you can almost tell that the ball is going in just 3 feet from his release like JC. It just floats up there on line.

His stroke just looks better right now. For a few weeks so many of his shots were off line and were about as polar opposite of floating up there as you could get. Hopefully they made some small correction an he keeps filling it up. This team will go as far as he does.

Nice accolade. Deserved. Let's hope this kid's confidence and play continues to improve. The timing couldn't be better.

Wrote in a different thread that he is learning. Had a nice step through (even if it missed) and a good turn around. He knows that he can just straight line to the rack since refs have a itchy trigger finger to call charges on him. Hope he keeps diversifying his game. We can definitely run some post up plays with him if he has good matchup.

Everyone goes through a bit of a sophomore slump. Hopefully he is on his way out of it. The kid is a natural scorer with a killer mentality.
