Minnesota, instead of running the ball a few times and bleeding the clock, decided to pass and had 2 incomplete passes that stopped the clock. This gave Brees all kind of time to drive down the field where Lutz has been banging out nearly 60 yard field goals with regularity recently. Dumb play calling is dumb.

They did a lot more than that, like getting knocked out of field goal range on third down up 17-0. Throwing a pick that led to an easy score. They shouldn't have needed a miracle, they should have won by kneeling down.

The Sunshine State Jags are going to come into freezing cold Foxboro at 3 p.m. and beat the Patriots I don't think so

Maybe. Maybe not though. Same things were said about the Bucs-Eagles NFC title game 15 years ago too.

Does this top his legendary last pass in the conference championship game against ECU? I don’t think so

From [Image: download2.jpg] to [Image: Ted_Nugent_cat_scratch_fever.jpg] in under 5 seconds, lol....

That said, the Vikings deserve it. That poor franchise had some of the best teams in the NFL in the 70's only to run into some of the best teams in NFL history, much less the 1970's.

And then there was their 1987 run, which just fell short at Washington's goal line. And then there was 1998 and the Gary Anderson FG miss.

I find this one way funnier:

Oh yeah. That one. I remember listening to that when it happened back in, 2004, I believe. I had an NFL Game pass subscription and was listening to this game as it ended like that. Just prior to that though the Vikings announcers were cocky as hell too. Pretty dismissive of the Cardinals, especially afterwards.

I said the same thing.

Also on their 2nd drive, they had 3rd and goal on the 1 and threw a fade, then kicked a FG. Could have given Murray 2 shots at it, and he's going to pick up a yard.

Fortunately for the Vikings, Diggs has better hands than Castile. Ball went right through his hands.

You don't see fired up and impassioned home crowds like that in C-USA any more.
