Hell of a finish. Good job Memphis. Fun seeing Tubby so excited when that shot dropped.

Temple basketball will be irrelevant until Dunphy is fired or retires! What a disaster! Alani Moore had zero business being in the game at such a critical point! Between the walk that wasn't called and the bricked FT just a complete gag job....

You went from happy to see a much improved team to upset that they aren't a top tier team in this league in a heartbeat. Baby steps man. There's going to be a lot of two steps forward and one step back.

The cupboard was emptier for you guys and you're in a tougher league. Your rebuild may take longer but you'll be ok. 04-cheers

The season seemed pretty clear to me after the GA State and especially Tulsa game. This is not an NIT team. That was my bench mark for the season. We're not gonna make it, I can't get excited about"moral" wins anymore. At a certain point as a fan you gotta say put up or shut up.

Well, you have completely unrealistic expectations then. Almost everyone outside of Tulane fans is impressed with what is happening there.

It's like everyone wants Tulane to stay in its little hole and never actually contribute to the AAC.

Tulane needs to break the narrative - and it NEEDS to happen in 2019.

Is there any names out there that may do a good job to replace Dunphy, in house or outside? This is hard to watch.

RE: 1/13 AAC Basketball Games
All I know is that we were down 4 with 30 seconds to play in OT, and somehow, we won by 3.

As old as I am, and as long as I have followed Memphis basketball (attended my first game in 1952), I honestly don't recall a bigger comeback to win by that margin, that late in the game. Scored 7 points in less than 27 seconds.

Not trying to rub it in, I'm not that kind of guy, but that was a freaking miracle. I would be really down if I was a Temple fan. Sorry, guys. I don't blame you for being upset.

Who knows who would be a legitimate candidate. I personally like Thad Matta given his resume and the amount of experience he has coaching at non-P5 schools. Crean seems to get a lot of run with the Temple fans. He's kind of goofy but not in a bad way. I'm sure there's two or three head coaches at smaller schools in the Northeast that could do a great job too.

Dunphy has to go though. 4 missed tournaments in 5 years is not acceptable. Especially when he has so little tournament and Top 25 relevancy to fall back on...

Shabazz talked to the team at their hotel before the game. Pretty cool.

Thanks for breaking news that's over 6 hours old. How am I, and others, just now learning about this even though anyone with an internet connection knew about it 6+ hours ago?
