So sad to hear about Stan The Man. In April of 1991 I met Stan a few days after I was hired as The Lady Tigers Head coach. He said “Welcome but if you don’t win you are going to lose your job”. I was like now that is the truth.
Later, we became friends and he told me if I wanted to have another husband he was interested. I told him he had to work he looked at me and said “I Do”
I cut grass.
Great memories with Stan. A Legend who made us ?. RIP my friend!

Thats a great story, and Stan seems to be very similar to Southern Miss's OB (Owen Bowen) who also just recently passed away after working for over 40 yrs with the football program.
