I took a Royal Caribbean Cruise this summer and several veteran RCI cruisers told me that their favorite destination was the stop in Haiti (the bottom photo I'm assuming). No Caribbean island is a shithole - yes, most of those countries are very poor and have quite a few slums, but they have incredible natural beauty too. Unfortunately the frequent Hurricanes can set back a lot of economic progress, and also bring the tourism industry to a standstill.

If you need me to explain about Africa's beauty, you're beyond hope.
