I don’t disagree. Some haters in the media seem to revel in finding a phrase to be outraged over. I think they continue to be surprised that most just aren’t all that outraged by what the tv commentators are foaming at the mouth over. Basically, I think that TV act will begin to wear thin eventually and viewers will drift away to something thats more entertaining. Remember, Trump hasn’t even been in charge a full year....so this this kind of tv would just be starting to get kinda old. Supporters can only stay in a whipped up frenzy for so long before they start to lose that level of intensity.

I took a Royal Caribbean Cruise this summer and several veteran RCI cruisers told me that their favorite destination was the stop in Haiti (the bottom photo I'm assuming). No Caribbean island is a shithole - yes, most of those countries are very poor and have quite a few slums, but they have incredible natural beauty too. Unfortunately the frequent Hurricanes can set back a lot of economic progress, and also bring the tourism industry to a standstill.
If you need me to explain about Africa's beauty, you're beyond hope.

A place can have great natural beauty and at the same time be a s***hole to live in. And I don't think any of those photos depict living conditions for average citizens.

Yes...ie...Jamaica. Everything outside of the resorts is abject (REAL) poverty.

Trump referred to the people from these countries as shitholes as well. Which is why he slams the immigrants who came from these countries. Matter of the truth is, many of the people who came here legally wound up being smart, well-educated and got degrees in the medical field, as lawyers and so forth. The problem is not these people. It is who is running their countries. The local economy are bad, poorly education system, and bad guys that causes troubles. Haitian and Nigerians are the ones who have gotten college degrees that become doctors, Nurses and so forth. We are in need of more doctors, nurses and so forth. Kicking these people out, or deny them entry into the USA would hurt us in fields that we need. There is even one Haitian graduated from the military academy to serve for us. He came here with his family after the earthquake.
