It's gonna get a lot worse, folks.

Unfortunately you may Be right, Esposito may be looking to get out the other two bums could not get a job at 1/2 their current salary,

It is my understanding that it will not be Joe's choice.

Joe will be the fall guy if Tubby survives.

Comes from someone who should know.

That might have worked at TT, but it is going to backfire here. Everyone who pays attention to the Tigers knows Joe is the only AC who is working. Firing the one productive assistant is going to be terrible PR. The radio commentators are going to be killing him all day long for it.

I understand he works hard, but he hasn’t landed any big time recruits either and zero from Memphis. Swing and miss on every major recruit we went after, wanted, and offered. But I understand what you are saying. He is the only one who does any recruiting. If Tubby is back I would want three new assistants. But that’s not happening with Saul. So it needs to be two new assistants.

Best case scenario is Tubby leaves on his own and we get to start over.

I agree with that and have been saying it for awhile. Joe does work hard, but he seems to be not very good at it. But, atleast he is trying. The other 2 assistants are completely worthless.

Continues to amaze me the people who some how this summer could not see this train wreck and kept saying--give him a chance. Now they think that Tubby walks away on his own. Never gonna happen!

He would cut Saul before he cut Pooh.

But first up will be Joe Esposito.

Assuming there is movement on the staff.

Remember also that Pooh was the local recruiter not Joe.

Saul's job was finding that diamond in the rough.

There was an interview or snippets posted here that stated as much.

Maybe saluki and his great memory can recall.

“Assuming there is movement on the staff.”

Surely you don’t suggest this staff could stay intact.

Joe E is a very hard worker

The problem is he is a Goober and has no Swag

AAU Coaches don’t give him the attention for high level HS players

A lot of people can work hard and still be bad at their job.

Problem is the other assistants are worse

Butch should be promoted to our top recruiting AC

I'm not sure what difference it would make regardless of who was on Tubby's staff.

I doubt Pierre stays but even if he does how many top 100 recruits is he in on?

And who would replace Joe otherwise?

Vince Taylor?

that's scary

Seriously. What would this roster look like without Joe’s recruiting?

We would need to speculate on the replacement. Joe hustles, no doubt. He's the one in the public on social media as well. But what if Joe was replaced with Pierre? Or maybe Madlock or Ryan Miller? They probably get better results.

Ideally, you keep Joe - there's a place on the staff for a hustler with juco connections - and get rid of Saul for one of those guys. But to think we automatically lose by replacing Joe is not correct.

Ah, I have been wondering why Ryan Miller's name gets' brought up.

They know Penny will not buy into this crock so they target a guy who has never moved a decent player to a specific college.

Name three players that Ryan Miller has hand delivered anywhere?

Not just asking you but anyone ...

For that matter what top players has he coached?

I seriously do not know.

Stephen Zimmerman, Derrick Jones, and Rashad Vaughn for three. And let's not forget Jaylen Fisher.
