True story - i was in Savannah last weekend for my sisters college graduation from real GSU. We were at the Bohemian rooftop bar grabbing a drink after the ceremony in Statesboro. I hear "JMU" behind me. It's a bunch of Wolfpack fans. They are talking about how it's a huge challenge and that they could lose - "look what they did to ECU last year", etc. I wanted to jump in and add my two cents but we were getting the check to leave.

The Over/Under win totals are starting to filter out at some of the sportsbooks.

The Pack looks to be a consensus opening at 7. Meaning, bettors will make a futures bet on whether the Pack will go over or under winning 7 (of 12) regular season games - no postseason games included/count.

When you look at their schedule, if they play to their potential it is very possible they could be 6-0 when they head to Clemson on Oct. 20 (and off an extra week to prepare). Here's their first 6 games...

Pleasantly surprised to see it on ESPNU. Stating the obvious, but great exposure for the program and goes a long way in recruiting.

This plays to our benefit. The crowed will not be into the game as students and tailgaters will be late arriving to their seats. Here is hoping we can start out of the gate fast and catch the Wolfpack flat footed.

State fans are notorious for going to the parking lot at halftime and not returning til halfway thru the 3rd quarter.
