We will win if we score more than 15 points the first 10 minutes. Slow start killed us against Ohio, start fast against a team not in the Power 5 and we'll be golden.

Bradley left very early with what appeared to be a rolled ankle. He took the games initial shot and it looked like he landed on a BG player's foot. He then picked up two quick fouls. He has not been back in.

Back in now, so he must be okay.

Can't wait for a coaching change. Two bad basketball teams tonight.
I see no hope.

When is the last time you saw a player miss 2 technical foul shots.
He was your best free throw shooter?

At this point it is hard to make a case that NIU won’t finish in last in the MAC West. Even if they find a couple more wins, no way they finish above .500 in league play which by the way hasn’t happened since Judson was the coach. The men’s basketball program is beyond terrible.

They will win six more MAC games to finish 7-11. This team is not under achieving this is who they were at the beginning of season and it’s where they will finish. With Jaylen Key out and Lacey James basically unable to score they are done. You put Maric with this team and they would be pretty good. Absolutely zero post play on offense or defense.

When was the last time you saw a NIU player step out of bounds on the sideline when nobody is guarding him? The few of us saw it tonight.

Coaching question. NIU ball out of bounds, backcourt free throw line extended with 2.2 seconds left in first half. Do you call a time out or just let your player throw ball inbounds and throw up a sixty footer? MM left his player just toss the ball inbounds in front of him.

Good coaches have practiced a play for this out of bounds scoring opportunity.

Monty borrowed a page from the Rod Carey playbook on getting to the locker room.

+1

Thank you all for playing but we have a winner describing the sad state of both the basketball and football head coaching situations of our beloved Huskies in one post.

Congratulations to uiniu57. We'll mail prizes to you.
