W&M slant on Alabama Championship
Alabama OC Brian Daboll started his coaching career at W&M in 1997. It's truly amazing how many accomplished pro & college coaches have spent time in Williamsburg.

RE: W&M slant on Alabama Championship
On same thought - and if mentioned here in another thread, sorry but I missed it - W&M got some nice exposure from Al Michaels and Chris Collingsworth during the Rams/Falcons playoff game Saturday night.

One of the defensive coaches for the Falcons (I can't remember his name) was a coach at W&M - and they showed the team pic from the year he was here and spotlighted him - along with Mike Tomlin and Sean McDermott as players - all together that season. They spotlighted each of them on the photo on screen. In the background, they were playing the William & Mary Victory March!! It was about a 20 second story between plays.

It is Dan Quinn, the Falcons Head Coach.

Daboll just hired by McDermott as the Bill's new Offensive Coordinator. Another tribe coach in the pros.
