Kansas City Chiefs
4 playoff wins since the merger...3 within three years of each other and two in '93 alone. 6 straight home playoff losses.

It's a wonder how they built such a great reputation over the years.

The Chiefs playoff history + Andy Reid's playoff history = Yikes.

Unreal that they were leading 21-3 at the half. Once Kelce went out of the game it seemed to take some air out of their sails. The second half was a complete letdown.

I couldn't believe that when I saw game tracker they were down 22-21 but KC had the ball and a lot of time to get some points to take the lead and then I got busy and got a text from one of my buddies saying "LOL chiefs choke."

I thought the game was over after the Titans dropped that punt return in the third. I came back and the Chiefs were trailing. It was just the Titans night, they needed weird stuff to go their way, like that TD Mariota threw to himself.

RE: Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs only playoff win in the last quarter century came over a team that shouldn't have even been in the playoffs (they went 9-7 in a weak division and had no quarterback).

Yeah, that Mariota self-pass play was just unreal luck. How about the sack that Mariota took in the first half that was clearly a fumble but it wasn't reviewable because the refs ruled his "forward progress had stopped." 01-wingedeagle Still, the Chiefs blew this game - they got skunked in the second half. As it turned out, if they would've just scored one field goal that would've been enough...

The frequency of such comebacks just underscores the tilt towards the offense the rules have taken in the last decade. You simply don’t have the ability to run the clock out on the ground anymore. Games like the Bills comeback against the Oilers were once considered anomalous in the 90’s are now routine. Just ask the Falcons, Sooners and Dawgs.

The Oilers choked that game though. The Bills made that a game in less than a quarter. Had they kept their momentum, they could have won by 20 or more.

Half those wins are against Houston.

So sad...Houston is just as crazy about football as Dallas, Green Bay or Pittsburgh. It certainly loves football more than a place like Boston. Houston football sucks. Two conference title games all time. Back-to-back years no less.

Sports fans in the northeast absolutely love their pro sports, though. Boston, New York, Philly, Washington, those fans ride or die with their favorite pro teams, every bit as much as SEC fans love their college football.

Boston still isn't more of a football town than Houston, not even with all of the Patriots success the last 20 or so years.
