There are two other examples of O'Kelly runs on film, and that was a horrible punting situation. People sitting around me were so surprised, but I can't be the only one that knew it was coming.

I couldn't believe they weren't ready for that either... I also was thinking like he had run it more than twice this year though. I noticed throughout the game that they were always ready for him to go to his right, and I think he did go to his right every time before that. Leading up to that play I was thinking maybe if we tried going left it could work, but I'd still be shocked if they aren't ready for it.

They were overloading to Harry's right pre-snap in anticipation of the fake to the right.

If 59 continues downfield and gets on his block earlier, the fake may have gone for a TD.

Could not agree more. This team was ALMOST one of the best FCS (1-AA) teams in history, and back to back champions setting up to be a dynasty, but we were just another second fiddle to NDSU...

The fact that we overcame as many injuries as we did and were still made it to the title was unbelievable. Any other team wouldn't have been able to recover from the losses that we had. Those offensive line injuries should have completely crippled us, but they didn't.

The drop by Alls on 2nd and 12 with about 7:30 minutes to go was the biggest of the 7 drops we had on the day. That catch likely goes to the house and we win another Natty.

I'm just so disgusted that we couldn't turn "being the better team" into "scoring more points." It hurts, and I *hate* that we have to endure another year of NDSU's head-patting. They need to be smote, and I hate waiting to do it.

Yeah, I always hate losing when my team beat itself. Sometimes it feels better just knowing the other team was that much better than you. They weren't.
I bet many NDSU fans think we had a nice two year run and that they're done seeing us for a while.
It's going to be that much sweeter when they have to see us around yet again next year. I'm just hoping that if we do have to face them, it won't be in Fargo.

I want NDSU to get the #1, JMU to be the #2 seed.

I want NDSU to have to play the #2,#3,#4 teams in the country in the playoffs back to back to back.

Then I want NDSU to lose to the #2 seed in Frisco.

And hopefully we'll get to play SHSU and enjoy our bye week.

I've always felt the east coast teams get screwed the most in the regionalization. I always think of the YSU game as the best example of that. Many believed that we were the 5th best team that year, yet we had to play YSU in the first round due to being closer to them.
As long as that system is in place, teams are going to get screwed. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if we get screwed yet again next year.
It would certainly be nice to say we got the easy side of the bracket for a change.

We had very comparable losses as well. Nitpicking a bit I guess...but the "any other team" part just made me put in my 2 cents...
