RE: 1/6 AAC Basketball Games
I thought Tulsa would be decent this year because last year I thought they were young and athletic. They actually haven't been as good as I thought they would be thus far. I had them as an NIT team preseason at one point. Maybe they are figuring it out.

UCONN, Memphis....ouch

Tulane has been the surprise and is kind of my 'aac darling' right now. I'm pulling for them. Would be AMAZING if they could make the NIT.

Nothing but respect here for the job Dunleavy is doing. I've been to two SMU-Tulane games in the little high school gym at Tulane (thankfully not this past one!) If Dunleavy can pack that gym it will be a damn tough place to leave with a win.

I believe we are indeed starting to figure it out. I figured it would take some time for this team to gel with some of the new additions. I think we've had 5 or 6 different guys start in the 2 and 3 positions if that says anything.

The Tigers, remarkably, are two point favorites.

If we lose today we could be looking at going into USF with a 9 game losing streak on Jan 31st.

Our offense (primarily post-ups using NBA sets) delivers a lot of open looks - but we have to hit shots; some nights we don't.

As someone who liked Big East basketball - and still does now - I'm still in a bit of shock that Provy has a better starting 5 than UConn. That used to not happen.

ECU showing some good backbone by coming back.

UConn...woof. Maybe a loss today breaks the last of resistance to the Fire Ollie movement and would be best in the long term?
