This is why words are important and there is a such a chasm in social media debates. I've had conversations with a former employee in my department and I had each of us read aloud an email from someone. We both read it and interpreted it completely different. I was just shocked as I sat listening to them get so riled up over the email. In my mind thinking how in the hell did you get so mad at that persons email, until I heard them read it out loud. I'm like... ohhh you really emphasized that word in your reading and that changes the tone to you.

Pretty simple... if she is making reference to MJH's situation, who are the "guaranteed pros" playing ahead of him while he is at the end of the bench? Maybe BJ is a potential NBA prospect, but certainly not guaranteed and there are no others that will likely sniff the NBA D-League. Coach Cal, who the Tweet references, has many guaranteed pros on his team every year along with a few that will be carrer bench warmers (that he apparently still works with).

I actually agree with 757 that we have no idea what her actual intent was, but the reason I read it the way I did, even with the reference to NBA or Not, is because she is basically quoting Cal in that portion. I don't actually find that part to be that relevant to the overall tweet. I will stop posting about it though, because I don't want it to become a thing and we frankly have no idea what the reality is.
