Al Washington Goes to Michigan
I think the UC coaching changes should have their own thread. Hopefully Fickell still has plenty of buddies with big time recruiting chops to hire. According to other thread UC now has three open assistant positions.

I missed that the Former Kent state coach is no longer coming here. Can anyone tell me what happened there?

Did any former Ohio State guys recently lose their jobs due to coaching changes?

It’s a real good thing that the ‘18 kids are signed because now Fickell has to recruit some coaches.

Is Manac a Washington recruit?

Probably.

FWIW Washington was hired to coach RB's for Michigan.

Originally saw just RB's. This article is saying could be RB's could also be Viper LB's.

When someone with pleated pants offers you a position, you gotta take it (in my experience).

RE: Al Washington Goes to Michigan
I'm going to ask a stupid question... Any chance that we get Prunty back? We "liked" his recruiting when he was here, he did at least a passable job salvaging a terrible situation at ECU (at least as good as anyone could do with that mess), and provided that he's a "Position Coach" as opposed to a "Defensive Coordinator" (which seemed to be the knock on the guy here), would that be something that could work?

Again...I know it's stupid...humor me.

Well, seeing how Drubbs didn't do much of it, Prunty helped on the recruiting trail from my recollection. He'll be happy coaching Hampton.

I forgot that he took the Hampton job... Just saw over on the main board where the ECU guys were rattling off their vacancies.

Question answered.

Thanks!
