So you still can't be bothered with reading the article and Trump tweet that started the other tread. I can't help you.

No FAA there.

Actually, the NTSB is the primary investigative agency in the US for air crashes. Along with accidents in the US, the NTSB also typically investigates major incidents involving US registered aircraft along with US built aircraft. Since the plane was a US built Cessna, I would assume they'll be involved.

Apparently. It just defies logic the ends people will go to try and support his nonsense. Many of them are the same ones who continually had a cow when I would defend Obama on things much more related to reality. 03-lol

My point is that I'm still not sure you could answer the following mathematical equation:

($4 + $6) / 2 = X

Solve for X.

Ron Brown from the afterlife on line 1...

Quote:WASHINGTON — If the late Commerce Secretary Ron Brown was murdered, it was by the luckiest and the unluckiest murderer in the world.

Somehow, the assassin got aboard Ron Brown's Air Force plane on April 3, 1996, shot him in the top of the head and miraculously left no exit wound or bullet fragments that show up on X-rays.

But then the assassin's luck turned sour because the plane immediately slammed into a mountain in Croatia, killing Brown and 34 other people on board.

And then--here's the really good part--the assassin arranged to have a substantial portion of the Air Force's top brass help cover up the dastardly deed.

Wow! What a plot! Hollywood, are you listening?

I came up with it after examining articles, interviews and videotapes of the X-rays to figure out why so many people want the federal government to re-open its investigation into how Brown died.

Unfortunately, Atty. Gen. Janet Reno didn't want to join in the fun. The Justice Department announced Thursday that it has not found a reason to pursue a criminal investigation into the matter.

What party poopers.

I imagine that within another 30 or 40 years most everyone who ever had any meaningful contact with the Clintons will be dead......except for Hillary herself, that will take a wooden stake through her heart...........assuming there's one in there.

Long story short I overheard Bill Clinton and Commerce Secretary Mickey Kantor on a phone call with the American ambassador in Jakarta back in the summer of 1996 while drinking gin and tonics with the chargé's hot wife and even hotter daughter. You don't forget days like that!

Bill and Mickey were playing catch-up with Ambassador Roy on SE Asian and Indonesian business affairs because Ron Brown had recently died in that place crash.

Good times, those times. 04-cheers

He said that when they flew through that same area their plane was whipped around a bit by the wind and he made a comment to it to the pilot. He said their pilot told them that at times it was very difficult to fly that area because of the strong and unpredictable winds.

In a former life I used to go to a very nice Christmas party at the Newberry town hall. Nice small area.

Loved my time there. Been actually looking at a piece of property between the town and the Saluda River. My youngest graduates HS this year and we will not have to worry about schools so we've been pondering making a move to escape these high property taxes here.
