Me too...would have loved to have gotten a bowl invite out of it. 9-2 didn't cut it. Seems crazy considering that 6 wins today gets you a bowl game.

In the era of replay, that team very likely would have been 10-1 and had the outright championship (instead of co-champs) along with a bowl game. Would have been up to making about a 32-yd field goal for the win on the final play instead of trying to get a touchdown from about the 40 on the final play.

Yep...Romie Brown had his foot down in the end zone...should have been 6. Still have no idea how we lost to Navy that year...10-9 if I recall correctly. That 1990 team was a good one.
