Unfortunately, this board has a habit of becoming a G5 echo chamber and the connection with reality can get lost.

Unfortunately, your selective memory is kicking in again.

...except you and your fellow P5 fanboys (I'm looking at you, quo) and the media and.....well, I think you see where I'm going with this.

We care, in the sense that this board exists to argue and debate college athletics, football most of all, and anything related to it. So if even outlandish/nonsense ideas get proposed, sure we'll argue about them.

But in the real world nobody cares - Alabama is in fact this year's national champion and UCF isn't. Alabama won the actual National Championship game, got all the 1st place votes in the Coach poll, and despite some in the media having fun blogging about UCF's claim to hanging a banner last week, in the end the media, the AP poll, voted overwhelmingly for Alabama as well.

Alabama is the champ, UCF is 6th or 7th, that's just the way it is. 07-coffee3

...not much to add to that. Quo shut that door.
