Fun fact, if JJ gets a win in Texas. He'll be the fourth coach to get to 100 victories at a third school this season. Currently Jeff Jones (Virginia 146, American 211, Old Dominion 99). The other three coaches to achieve this, are Mike Davis, Steve Alford and Bruce Weber.

VCU. Sitting out since he transferred. He also tore his acl last summer.

He tore his achilles. Not that that makes it any better for his recovery.

I don't think so because as I understand he has been practicing with the team since practice started. He hurt it this summer.

This serves as a good reminder that the best answer to most questions is "it depends."

Monarchs favored by 13.5. There is no reason we shouldn’t cover. Great game to see where we stand.

How so? Only way I see we find out where we stand is if we lose.

I'll be happy to go 2-0 regardless if we cover or not. The Texas road trips are tough

+1. If you can get out of Texas with 2 wins, you have done something. With where our guys stand, it is very important.

IF we can do that, we are 12-3. Not bad at all. I think we will too.

757, it will be tough. But if we want a great season, this is a must win. I think we are up to it.

Agree. This is a trip that's tough for the 3rd or 4th place team, not for the best team in the league. If we are legit, we should handle our business against a bad team and a mediocre team no matter where we play them.

Just for reference, MTSU made this trip last year. WOn both, but both were tough games. Think one of the them was a 3 point game and other was single digits. The previous time they made the trip they lost both.

I'd be happy with 2 wins. It won't be easy for sure.

Has anyone looked at our Kenpom numbers? Pretty impressive jump from last year.
