That was actually fun. A few WTF moments, but most of them came when the bench was more involved. Much preferred over the Cleveland State game.

i like Trevor Moore. Can hit consistently from 3. He can definitely zone bust. i like his effort on D. The game isn't quite natural for him just yet but he's giving maximum effort on both ends. i think he'll be potential all-conference by his JR season.

Keith Williams needs to be less selfish. There were a number of times where he could have given it up for an easy bucket/open shot, but took it himself. He also gave up after the bearcats turned it over for an easy memphis bucket. i like his athleticism and what he brings on the defensive side on the ball. Offensively, he's got some learning to do.

Cats shot 53% from the field and 50% from trey land. Memphis shot 32% from the field. Killed 'em on the boards 45 to 30. 23 assists to their 6. 9 steals to their 2. 9 turnovers to their 13.

Gary "BearcatMark Man Crush" Clark had 13 points, 10 boards and 2 assists.
Cumberland 15/8/4
Evans 12/5/6
Jenifer 7/1/4
9 guys scored points and a bunch played great DEE.

In the case of this game, it appears the majority of misses were due to bench players who rarely make trips to the line.

We were great tonight. That being said, Cleveland State could beat Memphis

Moore is deadly accurate, when he has time to set his feet. Not nearly as accurate when the shot is contested; however, this is still very valuable. It is nice to have a dead eye on an open look. I love Williams athleticism.

Man, I almost feel bad for UConn and Memphis, what in the world happened to those programs? same thing with Illinois, I remember when they blasted us twice in one year. Good game all around, but I mean sadly I don't see much of difference between Memphis and Western Carolina.

Western Carolina is probably better. Tubby is what happened to us - he ran off all of our top-100 talent and replaced them with JUCO scrubs. I’m not personally knocking our players, as they hustle and try hard - they just don’t have the talent to compete at a high D-1 level. Having us and UConn both down is not good for the conference, although I think UConn is much better than we are and will beat us by double digits. We need to dispense with Tubby pronto. Good luck to the Bearcats - we’ll be pulling for you.

Great game. Nice to see Cumberland play like Cumberland. Good minutes for the back ups. Thought Jennifer played well at the point.

Traffic super sucked. Took 1.25 hours to get out of the garage and to the highway. No one was manning the traffic lights at Civic Center and Alexandria Pike. Didn't see anyone manning the lights anywhere else either. Guess the Highland and NKU police didn't want to work traffic detail on NY eve.

I avoid the garage at all costs. I live in Delhi and it was 25 minutes from the time the game was over and I left my seat until I was home. I learned my lesson after the 1st game in the garage. Park in the lots past the garage.

Lesson learned. Will give the lots a go. Can't for the life of me figure out how it can take so long to get cars out of the garages at NKU. The arena only holds 10K and today I'm guessing only 7K showed up. Absolute ineptitude on the part of the NKU and Highlands police.

Guess we are spoiled because (aside from CBA garage which sucks to park in) UC can manage to can get 35K out of Clifton including out of garages with minimal headaches.

Fortunately for me most of the Buckeyes haven't figured out how to enter and leave the back way. We get to the game right before tip and leave at the end of the game with 0 traffic issues. I cringe watching these people fight there way through traffic while I pull right up to my spot with no trouble at all, with about a 5 minute walk to the door.

Man I hope Memphis gets Tubby out of there and gets a good coach to come in and bring that program back from the dead. The AAC needs them to be the real Memphis.
