We all know about the completely idiotic streamer ban. Many of you know about the #NoStreamersNoConcessions idea that's all over social media. I think it's pretty self-explanatory.

If we're going to do it, we actually have to DO IT. These can't be idle threats. We have to band together and just avoid the concession line. Tell others that haven't heard, or maybe aren't on social media. Tell the others in your tailgating party. Are you going with your Uncle Jack? He doesn't even know what Twitter is; tell him about this. I am all aboard and absolutely WILL NOT TOUCH the concession line. I promise you this.

Consider this the equivalent of the 2004 Capital One Mascot Challenge. We come together for stuff like this.




*it's very important to point out that at least one douchebag NDSU fan will chime in, saying that they'll double the amount of concessions just to offset what we don't pay. Don't worry about this, they won't do this. Maybe 1 or 2 guys will have an extra beer. No one is doubling their concessions, but you can rest assured that one of them will say that either here or on social media.

Liquor is the move this year anyways. Feel like I only saw beer and maybe wine last year. At least in the 1st quarter before they ran out...

it's more important that Duke fans avoid buying any NCAA merchandise than food and drink. I don't remember buying anything from concessions last year and I wasn't even boycotting them.

Everyone will bring streamers. There's no stopping it. I simply caution everyone from allowing them to go over the wall.

A. Bring Streamers. Throw them gleefully. I will be.
B. Do not throw them over the wall.
C. Bring a flask. (On second thought, bring two)
D. Only buy beer from the old men who don't know how to pour a beer (and miss the entire third quarter) as a last resort, and at your own risk. Unless they fixed it, the beer concessions racket at Toyota stadium is the worst on the planet. I plan on bringing everything I need with me. Recommend all involved do the same. Boycott achieved.
PS. I find it amazing that of all the "away" venues, this is the first time the streamer ban has come up. Richmond fans are cooler than NDSU fans. Who woulda guessed? Those midwestern sensibilities. The snow makes them sad.
PPS. With 1,600 more people in the stadium this year due to SRO, I'd recommend anyone my age or older wear some Depends. This venue is just not big enough.

On one hand, i'm down with this no concessions thing. I can drink twice as many beers before the game that way. On the other hand, we're all JMU grads. Telling us not to buy concessions (aka beer) is like telling me not to breathe... I'll probably forget and just keep doing it. Such a conflict of principles!

I hope to see lots of streamers flying.

I don't give a **** about getting in trouble myself or beer and I brought in 34 airplane bottles last year and handed them out like Candy but if we get a penalty for streamers I think it'll cause me to rethink a lot of things and I hope coach houston doesn't do it as well. I know he's currently pro-streamers but would hate for them to be an issue in the game itself.

With 20 mph wind gusts, streamers will end up on the field. Just sayin.
