Based on our last four outings (1-3) Houston will win by 20. The Owls will be in it up until the 12:00 timeout when the Coogs go up 21-6.

I think and hope that this is the last year for Ollie, Dunphy, and Tubby. You three have too good a basketball programs to be mediocre at best. The AAC desperately needs these three programs to be who they really are...ranked/NCAA tourney worthy programs.

Temple’s administration is well known for lack of action when it comes to underperforming coaches. I have been willing previously to allow Dunphy his “rebuilding” years, but we come out of bad years worse than before. It is time for a change at North Broad Street, but most Temple fans believe that Dunphy will be allowed to finish his contract through 2021.

All smack aside. I am excited to see Wichita State begin it's AAC journey at UConn. I am not expecting a blow out, especially with our perimeter D lately. But I do expect a win. (Of course most fans of conference contenders would as well).
It would do my heart good if they remembered how to defend the perimeter before we play Houston on the 4th, for obvious reasons.....cough...Gray....cough....

Oh, it will be a blow-out. Just a question of whether it occurs from the opening tip or not until after halftime.

True feelings or wishful thinking? Kind of like sucking to get the top draft pick....ie new coach?

Understandable. It kind of sucks to have won a NC with Ollie right away. Fire him too quick and what coach would want to come where they just fired a championship coach?
But I would think the seat would be getting pretty damned hot by now. Whatever needs to be done I hope it happens soon. You can ride the UConn name and legacy for a while but after a while that flame starts to die. Not that it is yet....but it will eventually.
As everyone has mentioned....this conference won't be as strong as it needs to be until UConn and Memphis are back among the contenders.
Just don't decide to be good tomorrow, that's all I ask lol

I'm looking for a UCONN win or a blow-out loss. If you win by 15 or less, I will be particularly displeased.

Well, the line has us favored by 9. And we haven't been covering.....so you will either be excited or very displeased. I would be shocked if we blow you out.
We will probably get down quick by 15. Then in the last 10 mins of the game claw back and win by 6 lol

UConn has a rare combo of being talented enough to beat anyone while simultaneously sucking enough to lose to anyone.

I’d say the Huskies are due.
I hope the XL crowd is at least a little lubed.
Awful early.
