The Vines kid is a heck of an athlete, with versatility, and decent size as well. Could try him at WR and S. 15 sacks and 10 Int's is crazy!

EMU only D1 offer, so he's obviously hoping/thinking others may follow, since he didn't commit in December. Maybe EMU offer not committable at this point?

Looks like the type of under recruited kid that sometimes develops in the MAC. We've recruited much worse in the past.

Yes and why its great to get. Michigan kids the majority of recruits that CC has brought in to improve the program have not been instate recruits motto is you take the talent where you find it

In a sense it is a shame that we have enough QBs for two teams, because Jordan appears to have 'Reggie Bell' written all over himself.

I'd always take a Reggie Bell type and make up a back up QB or athlete out of him.

Vines is interesting and shows, in part, a WR who benefitted from a have a very good QB, Jordan, throwing him the ball...

Wish we had a shot at Howie. Looks like he'll play early at his chosen school.

I'm wondering and 100% speculation that CC was getting into a mid-year numbers game with Thomas O, Whitmer, two DLs, etc. and still trying to hold a scholarship for a possible grad transfer (which was Wiegers).

I wouldn't be surprised as I suggested in the other recruiting thread that maybe CC asked Whitmer to stay in school until spring, graduate and get a Feb scholarship.

I see nothing on his Twitter account to lead me to believe we're out of it.

My guess is that CC had to get certain JUCOs in a mid-year (those who were graduating) while others could wait, sign in Feb. and graduate in spring.

My take is that if CC has 10 2017 scholarships in his pocket he could have given them all out to worthy recruits, without reaching.
