RE: 2018 Depth Chart
Chukes had major potential and lots of offers coming in, but Reed’s list is even more impressive.
If anyone is going to start at tackle as a true frosh for the first time since the 80’s, it’s going to be the guy who held offers from multiple Top 25 powerhouse programs.

Chukes had a solid list himself. Ohio State and Florida among others. Wasn't rated as high, as he was Sooooo Raw.

Reed dominated in HS, but he has a ways to go before he's ready for Div 1 football-in strength, conditioning and knowledge of the offense. Too many players in front of him. The only freshman Tackle/Guard I can ever remember Western starting was Paul Hutchins on our 1988 team-and I believe he was a RS freshman who was elevated due to injuries. I think we also threw Gary Vanderweele in their as a frosh for a few games at the end of the 1985 season, due to injuries at starters.
Matt Williams started as a True Frosh guard in Darnells last years

Reeds a frickin bulldozer.
O line has to be a unit though.
He must have clicked a bit with the group or he would not have signed on. Kennoy started as a youngster. Decent bunch of guys to bond with. To play or start he’d have to compete and earn it. Tools are there though.

Surprised Zenden Dellinger hasn't been mentioned much. If Reed doesn't start as a true freshman, it might be because Dellinger has made good use of his redshirt year. Going to be a lot of interesting battles on the offensive line.

RE: 2018 Depth Chart
Lester keeps mentioning Clayton at LB. Sounds like he was best LB on roster this year. P5 talent transfer
