I really hate the game and how well the right plays it.
They are so much better at the messaging aspect of politics. Did you guys know that they kept in the loopholes and deductions? Most corporations are going to pay around 9% when this is through. Why aren’t the airwaves filled “were the next Greece”. The Drudge Report is such an effective weapon for you guys. I tell myself just to worry about me. Me personally I have never had it as good, but I worry about the future. We are well on the path to straight fascism. When will labor get a win? The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Middle class shrinks.

Kindly explain how "most corporations are going to pay around 9%"? I want to see the math behind that.
And exactly how are we on the path to fascism? Do you even know what fascism is? Can you explain the derivation of the term and its significance?
And are you more worried about the rich getting richer or the poor getting poorer? The poor are not getting poorer, by the way. But they aren't getting richer as fast as I would like. Can you explain how you would propose to make the poor get richer faster than they do now? I've explained my way--Friedman negative income tax or Boortz-Linder prebate/prefund plus Bismarck health care paid for with a consumption tax. Of course, the rich would get richer too. But in a capitalist system, the way the rich get richer is by making the poor and middle class richer too. Or, more correctly, by turning the poor into middle class.

For the record, I think we were on the path to fascism under Obama, not Trump.
Fascism is where the government picks the winners and losers in the economy. Capitalism is where the economy picks them. Crony capitalism is baby fascism.

I flip over to each of them and they can't go 5 seconds without mentioning Russia. It is astonishing

Assuming this is correct...I expect to see this saving be passed on to those that actually pay it...the individual taxpayer. We pay this when we purchase goods and services. Lowering these rates will lead to deflated prices through competition. That is a good thing for those less fortunate. The increased deficit should be a concern to everyone. I thought any tax decrease should have included spending cuts.
This is why a consumption tax needs to replace our current system and end the loopholes and hidden crap. A consumption tax would be transparent. Our current system is fraught with deception, cronyism and outright fraud. Not to mention the estimated 1/2 a trillion dollars per year that is simply not collected through tax evasion and black market sales. A consumption tax scoops that up.

While I agree that a consumption tax needs to replace the Income Tax for a host of reasons.......it won't happen as picking tax code winners and losers is where those in Washington garner their power (and money) from. Just can't see the powers that be giving up that cash cow....

No doubt about this. Obamacare was pretty close to fascism. The left's attack on free speech...fascism. Gun control...fascism. Combine that with global socialism under the guise of "climate change" and open borders...dangerous times.

And where opposition rallies get shut down and their HQs get vandalized. Where people lose their jobs because of supporting the opposition. Where violent groups shout down and intimidate speakers.
Where the media and corporations all line up behind the ruling party.
Since FDR we have never been closer to fascism than under Obama and Hillary. And the Democrats calling the other side fascists????? Pure brainwashing of the Democratic rank and file.

I agree. Good luck getting that through. We’ve crossed the line where income taxes are obsolete. Too many loopholes.

Which political party supports that corporations should be looked at as individuals with rights? Open your *** **** eyes boys!!!!! It’s not Democrats.... then to flip that is a special kind of stupid. Who wants to defund NPR and public broadcasting!!!!!!! And to you guys accuse D’s of fascism. It’s sickening.

The only ones known to be paid by Russia were the Clintons. The only one doing Putin's job of undermining the American government and faith in our Constitution are the Democrats. The only one challenging Russia's hegemony is Trump.
Use your brain, not just talking points. The idea that Trump is owned by Russia and the Democrats have fought Russia is one of the most mind-numbingly stupid talking points ever. Are you really so stupid to continue to believe that Trump is owned by Russia? He just sold weapons to the Ukraine to kill Russian soldiers and mercenaries occupying part of the country. Obama refused to help them at all. Trump bombed Russia's owned Syrian leader Assad. Obama forgot about his red lines.

Well, then we should throw out any politicians that are unwilling to eliminate the loopholes......be careful, your Democratic stalwarts love the power that comes from picking winners and losers just as much as Republicans.
You know, a consumption tax replacing the income tax would do that.....

Who did all the corporate leaders support in the last election?-Hillary
Who did all the major media other than Fox support in the last election to an unprecedented extent, violating all their previous standards of journalism?-Hillary
Who supports government propaganda supporting their position (NPR)?-Hillary
Are you really this brainwashed that you continue to make yourself look so ridiculous? Or are you just totally ignorant about what fascism is? Your talking points just so blatantly work against your own side.
