I watched a number of Radford games this year (one of my sons is an alum) and Fields contribution was more than his stats. He played the catalyst role for most of the season...defense, running the point or 2 guard and generally providing much needed energy and confidence. While he wasn't a big scorer most of the season, he was money during the tournament, especially in the semis and the finals. Radford is lucky to have him and I wish him all the best.

Isn't the CAA tournament supposed to start on Thursday (pillowfight) and the real games begin on Friday? Why are they starting on Sunday?

And I had to check that BIG10 result a couple of times. I thought they were one of the last tourneys to conclude two hours before Selection Sunday? WTF?

and F W&M... stinkin 4th place CAA team with no taste of real NCAA action that got lucky with that damn 3/4 court shot. damn virgins.

CAAT always started on Friday ended on Monday. We always called it Pillow Fight Friday.

I have a soft spot for W&M. My old boss was a graduate. Was in the marching and pep bands. He always joked about the “smart but ugly women” there. Especially the cheer leaders. He said the guys in the band would throw kibbles and bits at them at the basketball games. And would chant “kibbles and bits...” when they ran off the court. I know that is very non political correct. But it was the 70s

Yeah, my dad and my brother went to W&M. As much as I'd like to hate them, I can't. I have always rooted for them in the CAA since ODU left.

Both teams can be a tough first round team in the dance
