Has the Athletic Department considering putting up a billboard with the likes of:

'Congrats to our Rice Owl, Chris Boswell. 2018 Pro Bowl Kicker'. Or something of the like?

Would be a great easy way to advertise our football team. TSU always has Strahan on a billboard on the way up 45.

I would donate too. How much? Does anyone know how much it costs for a billboard like that (is it within reason that we convince the department to do so)

Someone should contact the athletic or marketing department and give it a try? Now is the time to do it. We have to start being more pro- active in Houston to gain more exposure in the city. A second option is to take out a full page or half page in the Chronicle maybe on the day of the Pro Bowl or during the playoffs.
