we are getting close to the end of the football season and this week there are three non BCS teams rated in the BCS Top Ten!! Some how what I just wrote doesn't make much sense. I would think even to the BCS schools it wouldn't make much sense!!! 05-nono I'm sure there will be changes in the BCS poll before the end of the year but it is very likely a couple of the non BCS teams will still end up in the Top Ten if not all three. I want to know which Commissioner of a BCS conference is going to have the ba!!s to tell those teams they have no business in a BCS bowl but some lesser ranked BCS schools do!! I might even like him to tell them that in front of a congressional committee, and God I hate govt getting involved in anything, but the money grubbing , keep the status quo, BCS conferences might need more of a push than we will get in 2006 when the rules change a little. When I look at the Coaches Poll, in every case the non BCS schools are voted lower than in the AP Poll because the BCS Coaches have to keep the BCS teams ranked higher to avoid any controversy at the end of the year. Fortunately so far it isn't working as well as they would like!!
