And yet, he beat you guys in friggin' Alabama. LOL.

We got franken out of it, so it’s all good.

I'd call that a win for the Reps already. A Dougie for a Franken. At least Dougie said that in some cases he would vote on the Reps side. Now, THAT is a major improvement from Franky the Peloser lover.

Lets look at the changes from this season

AL - Luther Strange ® for Doug Jones (D)
MN - Al Franken (D) for Tina Smith (D)

Ok..you want to call that a win for the GOP? Go right ahead.
Stolen election for an ahole like franken to be out. Hell yes. That idiot jones beat an accused child molester by 1 point. That's how bad dems are despised. More write in than the margin of victory for temp seat. Bama will vote gop for 100 years after this robbery and you know it. So yeah. Lulz

which is why a write-in should be eliminated as an option......once upon when the population was much lower in numbers, it had value as we began to evolve as a nation......it's worthless today unless you want to help promote the USD become the bolívar in the next few decades....

staying at home takes less effort and requires less brain power and dollars to process.....

a write-in ranks up there with dippo policy and only helps ensure they have a greater chance maintaining/achieving their feudalistic platform moving forward.....

it's oxymoronic logic to even think such carries weight by too many folk with a brain.........it's why DJT ran as an ®

ol' boy may look like a dippo in front of the camera/keyboard at times, but he's hardly a dipshite when it comes to ideological/macro thinking....

this is why I gave the finga to almost all my econ profs.....and I did with the wryest of smiles back then too.....

You do know that if Jones wants to be re elected He can't go headlong into the Schumer agenda. He already knows He has to work both sides of the isle. I believe He will. Also believe that Dems that oppose everything Trump proposes will pay come November.

I want to meet the man who voted for Bozo the clown. Sorry, but a write-in was needed for this election.

lol.....I had never voted in a general until this one (defines #henceDJT posits from the get go)

as a passing thought, I always had my write-in as mickey sucks my mouse as a protest vote......I simply found it pointless to go through the effort until it mattered.....this year I did it to simply pile on (with a DJT seleciton....not ol' mick) to back up my position.....the 'sip has been a gimme ® in the general since I've been able to vote starting in '83.....

again, there's a reason I despise politicians (especially the lifers w/o a clue).......and DJT is proving what my crew knew long ago....

What makes you think Franken's replacement will switch aisles on any votes?

I never said Franken's replacement would. I said Dougie said he would at times.

It’s still not a “win for the reps”. It’s a “win” only in the sense that you don’t have to try and defend this lunatic in the senate, but it’s still a big loss overall.

In Minnesota, you replaced a liberal Democrat with.... a liberal Democrat. Push there.

In Alabama, one of the reddest of the red states, a Democrat was elected. No way to spin that. Even if he’s the most conservative Democrat in the senate, it’s a Democrat in a state Republicans should never have to worry about. That’s a loss, no other way to spin it.

Not to mention the President went all in on a candidate that was so repugnant that he lost an election as a Republican in Alabama. No doubt that will be brought up again over the next few years.

A win for the Reps lol.

Too repugnant for Alabama. You have to try real hard to accomplish that. And they did. 05-stirthepot
