Our coach is putrid and our former AD gave him an iron-clad contract with an enormous buyout. Our current administration no longer cares about baseball so apathy has mostly set in.

WSU baseball = UConn basketball.

Yikes. That's bad. I saw that you have a few VERY high draft prospects. Do you also have a Kevin Ollie destroying the program?

Let’s just say I’d rather have Kevin Ollie coaching our baseball team.

That sums it up nicely. Todd Butler=03-puke

+2 for making the gif timely and seasonal.

An accurate parallel could also be drawn between our program and the actor with respect to the grace in how they've aged over the last decade.

Agreed our injuries were absolutely absurd last year. We're a much deeper team this season, more arms, and more power. I like our chances honestly.

I agree with the other UConn fan in this thread; Tulane is much too low.

UConn ranges anywhere from a borderline top 10 team and not even making the NCAA bracket. It all comes down to our pitching.

We will go only as far as our pitchers take us........good thing we have an entire projected weekend rotation that have(will) pitched in the Cape. Will also help to finally have a prototypical closer in Williams (turned down big money to come to ECU).

We will need DWS to return to freshman form and have a big year from Brickhouse, as well as a solid contributer at 3B.

RE: AAC Baseball Preseason Poll and All-AAC Team
Whenever it is this cold for a sustained stretch, I begin looking forward to the start of college baseball season. Sick, I know - there are just too many fond memories of showing up to miserably cold February games with snow on the dugouts wearing umpteen layers of anything warm to watch our once-acclaimed squad dominate overmatched foes.

Those who follow the sport will have opportunities aplenty to bully us poor Shocker fans this season. We are a shell of our program's former glory, but hope springs eternal for another 6 weeks or so.
