With him, Haney, Hunt, Woo, and the others there is a chance that the DT position could improve next year. DT, DE, and LB need to be a recruiting priority though. A JUCO recruit capable of contributing immediately will hopefully be signed.
I'm looking at next year's roster and am thinking it will be better than this year's for sure. Primarily the Redshirt frehmmen will be available coupled with a lot of returners. Outside of losing Glass, McGill, A. Jackson we return a ton and I really like this group. Howie, Merritt, Haney, Dooley, Sow, Cannon, Beydoun, Williams, McGee, Nofski, Myrick, Jairus, Preston, etc. I think this is one of the better returning teams I have seen. Couple

RE: 2019 Football Recruiting
None of the true freshmen played in more than 4 games but Merritt and Shine the DB played the most at 4, Aaron Hamilton another DT played a couple and Boone the RB played one or two. We have Corey Thomas, Mark Lee, TJ Peavy and Kenric Nowling plus Shine all redshirt DB. I thought Vines,McGee, Vaden and Bogan has their moments this year at DB. We have redshirt LBs Brown and Johnson. Besides Merritt and Hamilton we have Brooks at DE. We also have Braham Jr at RB with Boone. And on the offensive line we have Broderick Jordan, Wiliam Racely and Jimi McAdams. So yes almost our entire frosh class redshirted, I recall the days when that didn't happen and don't forget Jayden Machado at QB a JUCO redshirt.

Me too. Whenever a team redshirts its entire frosh class and is still bowl eligible, things are reason for optimism.
Evidence of a program being well built.
