Pretty weak class for the overrated Harbaugh as well. Ohio State and Penn State at a much higher level of recruiting than Michigan (on paper).

Michigan landed no 5 stars, only 7 - 4 star players, 11 - 3 star, and even a 2 star. Nationally ranked by Rivals at #16, only 2 spots ahead of Michigan State who came in at #18. Buckeyes & Nittany Lions #2 & #4 respectively.

Harbaugh hoping and praying that Patterson is eligible right away at QB. He may have gotten lucky with the Ole Miss debacle.

I didn't want to start a separate thread, so I thought this would be the best place to mention Central's terrible showing in the Potato Bowl. Central's quarterback showed what he was while at Michigan. Someone said Central's eight turnovers was a record for bowl games, or maybe the Potato Bowl. In any case their fourth bowl loss in a row, and I couldn't be happier.

I'm with ya Ken. EMU also has a higher rated recruiting class. With our defense against their new QB next year...hope to see a shutout.

For anyone curious, this year (2018 class) we got our 1st verbal in early April and 2nd and 3rd in June.

This was to be expected as schools have mostly completed their 2018 recruiting. We are probably something like 80% (say 16 / 20) done with 2018.
