We just can't beat ourselves
I have no problem when we get beat. Sometimes you are going to play teams that are better than you are. What galls me is when we beat ourselves - turnovers, bad shots, silly fouls, lack of focus, lack of effort. None of those things has to be. They are part of what I call playground ball. We just have to try to eliminate those things, and get better, get better. Improve every game. And I think we have been improving. There are some factors in our game that definitely are getting better. We just have to continue to improve, get our roster back to full strength, and hope for a few breaks.

RE: We just can't beat ourselves
A decent effort last night against a team that will likely finish in the top half of the SEC. Definitely showing some improvement. I am getting frustrated about not getting any updates on Burns and Reedus. We will be 20% better with those 2 players. I would have liked to see them get, at least, a few minutes before the start of conference play. But now they have 9 more days to get better before the "real" season starts. Hopefully, we'll have one or both ready to play significant minutes next weekend. The OOC season will be meaningless if we can get things together for conference play.
