RE: Toledo men wallop Jackson State
so I have to ask - are you subscribed to the online Toledo Blah? Everytime I click on a link to a story in the Blade, I'm told I already received my free 15 stories and that I have to subscribe to The Blah in order to view any more stories. No way in hell am I giving them a dime. If there is another way to view the stories, I like to know it. None of the stories interest me enough to pay them though - unless the subscription is only $1/year. Then maybe.

Yeah, I've lost faith in just about every commercial, for-profit news outlet to deliver what I'm looking for while avoiding tactics that boil my blood, so if any wheeling and dealing took place between sources within the past year, I'm probably not aware of it, but what the heck happened to the partnership between The Blade and BCSN.tv? The sports columns all used to have a BCSN.tv link and there were no restrictions & didn't count toward a ludicrous tally of page reads that The Blade allotted you for free. It's not like they weren't bombarding us with paid advertisements already…I mean that's how the world makes money these days anyway. Money grubbin' SOB's…

Anyway, if you're on a smart phone and you open the link, then click on the "reader mode" icon on the left side of the address bar before it tells you that you've reached your limit, you can read the content for free.

Great shot of Knapke’s finish on one of the best dunks I’ve seen by a Rocket since Weathrtspoon was here.

I was, but that was BEFORE Weatherspoon (or Weathrtspoon). Salter could have been really good if he could play basketball really well, but he had that one moment.

Also, from a PC or Mac, click the "Print" button at the top of the article right when the screen loads and you can read the article. You have to click quick...I do it all the time! If you miss it the first time, refresh the screen and have another go at it!

You can still download the old app and it still updates with new articles that you can read for free. Articles are free on that terrible News Slide app, but more limited than the old app (that's if the News Slide garbage actually loads).
