Either way, looks like he had surgery now and I’d guess he’s skipping the bowl game to get healthy for pro day, etc...

Just spoke with someone who has an insider---Lurry gone---locker cleaned out---not even at NIU anymore. For what it's worth. I consider the person a good contact---but if anyone knows anything more, please advise.

So who did you speak with? It seems that they were wrong on at least one item which led to a negative and untrue implication.

He is having surgery on his broken wrist. He can't practice or play. He doesn't need a locker. He is a senior and is done.

Yes, a very logical conclusion.

Unfortunately others that love the rumor mongering feeding frenzy used this as fuel for their own purposes without knowing the real facts.

I think the problem is, fans don't want their "gameday experience" to be ruined by the fact they cant come to grips there is a head coach that has not one damn clue what he is doing. I was the first to identify a culture problem and I was right, I mentioned that players no longer care about bowl games, and I was right. Not trying to brag but I have nailed these things while you sit back fat and happy with your thumb up your rear while the football program has deteriorated

You seem convinced this program is tanking and that they will lose this bowl game. If NIU wins and you are wrong can you agree to stop posting here for good? Put your money where your mouth is if your so confident in the state of this football team.

The bowl game doesn't mean anything, the result of the game I mean. Just please stop wishing problems away, they don't go away doing that.

And please stop making problems when there is not. Especially when you have ZERO proof of them. ZEROooooooOoooOooOo

+1000 Great retort

I don't see anything that is negative or untrue in what I posted. Lurry is gone, locker cleaned out, and not at NIU anymore. I even asked if anyone knew anything different to advise. In a subsequent post I said that I spoke to a parent of a different player on the team. Nothing they told me was untrue or even negative to Lurry in any way. I am not sure what I posted led to a negative or untrue implication.

I would love to see him show up on the sideline or in the crowd in Detroit to show his support. There will be dozens of players not playing in bowls because they are guaranteed to be drafted and there are probably another set of dozens of players, like Lurry, that have this one small chance to improve their stock and have to go for it now.

Someone else replied to your post and implied he was a bad teammate for leaving. Jumping to conclusions before the facts were known.
