Parking @ Frisco
Like probably many of you, we will have a rental car for Frisco. What's the parking like at the stadium? Difficult? Expensive?

Last year it was pretty easy, just pulled right up. Seems like I recall each team had a parking lot? Anyone else remember that, or am I just getting old?

We got there at 6 am, and will this time too. I believe that's when they open.

I had a similar experience, but I got there at a similar time. I am also very cheap and don’t recall being bothered by the cost to park.

If I recall correctly it was $10 last year and lots opened at 7. Arrived about 6:45 to get in line. 13 degrees and the sun was coming up as we got the tailgate started.

There was no-hassle getting in and parked. Only issue was having left the mixers in the trunk overnight so everything was frozen/slushy...

How does that work? When we get the tickets do we get some sort of pass? In other words, how is each school assigned a certain lot?

Correct, it is 7 am and not 6 am

Wow. It was a heat wave in your part of the lot; it was a frigid 8 degrees when we pulled in....I believe Hyperduke saved the photo from the dash readout...but it was warm in the stands (warmer in the bathroom)

There's nothing preventing anyone from parking in either lot. We had YSU people right next to us in the red lot. The major thing is that the red lot is on our home side of the stadium and is also bigger than the one on the other side. You can count on many BiSon fans to park in that red lot. It's what they've been accustomed to. Get there early. Do not allow them to take over that lot.

I'll just park in the same spot as last time. Near the porta-crappers & where the buses drop off the team. Wonder how they deal with people arriving before 7am, I bet they might let folks in early just to alleviate traffic jams on that road.

With the plans I got Friday night, no way Im up for a cold tailgate....

My plan... roll out of bed, get my comp bfast, start wearing purple, get to stadium at about 945/10 (Parking garage easy walk) meet up with couple tailgate groups before the beatdown starts.

Btw, 11am kick off, blows.

Yes it does. I was actually starting to warm up by kickoff. If they could just make it a 1:00 central time to, it would help tremendously.
