Very unfortunate. Alex Thomas claims he didn't know the friend he was with was going to rob someone at gunpoint.

This is why I cringe every time someone says something on here about how student-athletes are young and don't know any better and should be treated as such.

Actions have consequences, now matter how inconsequential they may seem to the person performing them. Especially when you are tried as an adult. This kid has lost a chance at a career in football, an advanced education, two years of his life, and his civic rights.

He may have not robbed this guy, but he should have known the type of person he was associating with. Not alot of good can come of going to an apartment in Corryville with a sketchy dude that robs people.

It happened in 101 E. Corry if i remember right. The entire complex is very nice uptown facility.

Yeah, it was at University Parks Apartments...you know, the one's that overlook Gettler and are techinically ON-CAMPUS.

The bad news for T is that he is headed to jail. The good news is the Bengals will be very interested in signing him once he gets out. Hopefully he gets an early release.
