Please tell me why Mike O'Cains name keeps popping up? Does anyone think he is a decent head coach?

Hell, he is an NCSU cast off! From what I remember, he took over a good program (in comparison with where ECU currently is) with better resources, and did nothing with it. He couldn't win the big rivalry games (he never beat UNC as a head coach). He was fired, went to be OC at UNC and lost the damn NCSU/UNC game again. He is now an assistant at Clemson (another underachieving team). He should not be restored to a head coach in Div. 1A! 05-mafia

I agree!

I was a pack fan back in the day (including much of O'Cains tenure), and I thought it was a great move when they got rid of him. We don't need a coach like that.
