Well rich people should pay more in taxes from what I've been told. So why is she complaining?
Because Hillary isn't president.

Exactly, bernie and his supporters should be happy.

Bernie Bros didnt get anything out of the deal. You have to actually pay federal taxes to get a break on federal taxes. They were hoping for an iphone X giveaway.

RE: Tax Bill
Another company announces Tax Bill related bonuses for 75% of its employees and raises their minimum wage to $15/hr. IF this continues 2018 will be a banner year for GDP growth. No wonder democrats opposed the Tax Bill this could kill their chances of taking back the house and senate.

RE: Tax Bill
Found a pretty good synopsis of what is and what isn't included in the new bill. Good read for those that may want to cut through all the noise and see what is actually in the bill. This tax bill impacts 2018 income, not 2017 income.

RE: Tax Bill
Dems are fubar in 2018 once all the lies are shredded. They have to run on saying no to a tax cut for 80% of taxpayers and no to helping the economy though the corporate tax cuts.
Their own polling that shows the public dislikes this tax bill because they think it raises their taxes. In reality it lowers taxes and Dems are going to be left unable to say a single one of them voted to lower taxes, despite their polling showing that Americans favor lower taxes.

RE: Tax Bill
I find it amazing how far the left are burrowing their collective heads into the sand on this bill. I’ve said before and will repeat it here—there are two ways to reduce income and wealth inequality (if that is in fact a desirable goal), make the rich poorer or make the poor richer. Are the left really so intent on making the rich poorer that they are willing to make the poor poorer to accomplish it?
That’s the way it looks.

yessiree bob....and they almost had the feudalist leadership and numbers of minions to continue down that path.....
#henceDJT
it's the only reason I seriously gave full attention to this election in detail (as did many others for the first time)
after ZERO, this one hit critical mass in importance relative to protecting the USD and border protection......
IMO, it's playing out XACLY! how it should up to this point.....

RE: Tax Bill
Problem with the Democrats voting all against the bill is that they've now hitched their wagon to the economy going downhill in order to turn this into a political win next November and thereafter. If we wind up in a recession the next cycle or whenever (which is very possible, it's been close to a decade after all since our last one) will be a cakewalk; if it continues to grow, it'll be difficult to keep claiming that it's an awful bill. Basically the situation the GOP was in with Obamacare, and it ended up paying off for them in midterms and last year.
And it's especially relevant when you have the likes of Pelosi saying it's the worst bill in American history. That in particular is pretty ridiculous when you consider the fact that we've passed legislation like the Alien and Sedition Acts, Indian Removal Act, Fugitive Slave Act, and a bunch of other stinkers...

Exactly. Her side has been clamoring for the 1% like her to be paying even more. Now she's complaining because her taxes went up 3%???
I'm sorry. Is she under the delusion that she's middle class?

Everybody regardless of party hopes that the economy does well. Democrats don't need a bad economy to turn the tax bill into a political win. It is viewed by a majority of the country as skewed to the wealthy. The GOP hope that the February pay stubs will turn those numbers upside down. It will likely shift perception somewhat. It certainly will help my feelings. But none of that will really matter by November. Tax changes aren't really high on the list of considerations for voters. Any political party that hitches their wagon to these tax changes for the 2018 election is wasting their time and energy.

RE: Tax Bill
I have a lib friend that works for Bank of America. Against Trump, everything he does, etc., however, she gets one of them $1000 bonuses. So of course on social media the question was asked did she get the bonus. She said yes. So the question became, do you think Trump and his tax bill are still bad. So she says yea and several tell her she can give it back or give it to the government. She said why? I earned this. BOA has been stingy with money and finally gave me what I deserve. Trump and his I'll gotten plans didn't do this.
So in a nutshell libs can get the perks but claim it's cause they deserve it, not because a policy from the GOP or Republican President helped them.

RE: Tax Bill
The question for me is will this bill lead to more jobs and will it lead to higher wages relative to inflation for the middle to lower class? If the answer to that is yes this this is a home run for everyone. Time will tell.
