Today is the first day of next season.
In retrospect, it was a blessing not having to participate in some low-rated bowl game. Allowed the Coaching Staff to focus on recruiting and they sure delivered.

Next step is to allow the Coaches a couple of weeks to catch up on their sleep, then start getting ready for Spring Camp. We need Wassink and Goddard to improve their games by quantum leaps for next season and it starts with a strong Spring Camp. Lots of scrimmaging in game situations.

RE: Today is the first day of next season.
This season was a test of toughness. We had to play through some difficult situations with all the injuries, but those Lessons Learned will pay off in dividends down the road.

We need to really work on our QB's in spring camp, give everyone a chance to show their stuff. Wassink has the inside track but he needs to be pushed. Is our recruit QB going to be on campus for Spring Camp?

By blessing do you mean not forcing America to watch your mediocre football team?

Huh, I never knew missing out on several weeks of additional practice time for an entire team was a good thing.

I hope it's an open competition for QB. Wassink didn't do enough to prove he's the guy to beat. I really want to see if Riddle could be our future.

48-38-2 bro, come back and talk to us in 2027 when Bono is pulling in the Mendon field hockey team to fill out the offensive line... 05-stirthepot

If you look at tape of Riddle and tape of Eleby it will comfort you with regard to the future of our QB position... I think Eleby looks a little stronger on his HS reel but Riddle has had a year to work with Lester and WMU....

I'm sure America will love watching your mediocre team prancing in its yellow uniforms (CMU's colors are maroon and gold, not yellow) on the blue turf in a 2/3's empty stadium in 35 degree temperatures.

How'd that Florida bowl work out for you last year, junior?

CMU embarrassed the MAC last year in that pathetic excuse for a bowl game, so get out of here with that crap.
