January, I believe.

I hope some of those teams roll on our schedule next year. Boca or Miami in late November would be nice.

I would like the Owls to play USM and UAB next year.

As you can imagine, I'm looking forward to USM to visiting FAU and FIU.

In case you hadn't noticed, you have played us every season in this iteration. I think we're permanent crossovers. You've played us every year since 2005, and lead the series 7-6

I'm guessing one or both of our ADs requested that as a condition of you moving west. Now that several teams have rotated to the top both East and West, it's probably time to spread around the schedule a little bit. I imagine the agreement was so we'd both have a brand team on the schedule till we could ascertain what we had here in conference.

Im not sure there has been a distinguishable pattern whatsoever in the crossover scheduling. Although we havent exactly been stable in football membership the whole time. Hopefully this year was the beginning of an actual rotation.

I was under the impression that 2017 was the first year of a two year cycle.
Everyone plays who they played in 2017 with home games switched.
Charlotte’s should be
Home: USM, FIU, ODU, WKU
Away: UAB,Middle, FAU Marshall

No.

There are only a small handful of cross divisional pairings that have any kind of history.

We should have two of the following: UTEP, LaTech, Rice

I believe you're right.

That jives with what Rice has on the 'future schedule' page for 2018. Same conference opponents as this year with home/away reversed.

We can all expect our last conference game this year to be our first next year, and our first conference game to be our second, so on down the line. Then the following year, we flip the home/away schedules again.

I was hoping Middle Tennessee would be our permanent crossover...

clt says look up your 2018 HC opponent, and that is when you play Charlotte.

Except that we played USM in 13, 14, 15, 16, 17. Throwing out 13 as ECU, Tulsa, and Tulane were still in conference, wouldn't 14 have been the first year? So 14-15 and 16-17. We have rotated other west teams, but USM has remained constant. Or maybe they started over with UAB back. That kind of threw a wrench in the works. Either way, USM is still there.

I'm not saying everyone has a permanent crossover, but I think MU/USM does.
