Might have been a little closer. In 2012, it was probably 70/30 Bison. Towson brought...a thousand...doubt much more. Can't remember what Ill St had...don't think any more than their allotment. Jacksonville St was also limited to their allotment...and I believe Bison fans got some of those as well as they didn't use them all. If we could get enough tickets, we could fill the stadium ourselves. Guessing you guys could do the same.
I'm actually surprised Towson brought that many. I'm surprised about the 2012 numbers, though. I was giving SHSU too much credit (sounds familiar, media?).
SHSU would have bought more...but the Bison fans bought all the tickets when they did the presale the summer before. They did 3 year packs...and the Bison fans bought them all. SHSU was limited to their allotment. There was much wailing and gnashing of teeth.
I have serious doubts about that, SHSU didn't bring 6000 to their quarter final home game.
I think their attendance was better then...but I could be wrong. Besides, attendance would be good for them since Frisco is only like 3 hours or so away from them. A championship is a little more exciting than a quarterfinal...and in 2011 and 2012 they were expected to win...not so much this year.
I follow your argument, but if you can't put 6k butts in the seats for a playoff game at home, then you really aren't much of a player from an attendance perspective. They didn't have but 8k at their homecoming game this year. I'm afraid you guys and my Dukes are the biggest fish in this pond. There's two or three others, but If we want to make our player's feel like they are playing before an energized crowd, we need to play more often.

They aren't used to losing when it matters. Which is what they did last year in their beloved bomb shelter of a dome, and its what is going to happen again this year on a neutral field. We're just the better team, doesn't sit well with them.
You are right, we are not used to losing...but it happens....but it rarely happens twice. If you care to check it out, look back and see how often the same team beats us twice in a row. Not often.
And yes, there is not a lot of football discussion on our board. Most are just enjoying JMU fans making your fanbase look silly with the streamer tantrum. I heard something about you guys contacting the Frisco city of commerce even. This is a dumpster fire we can't help but watch. Someday you guys will look back on this and be embarrassed...but today is not that day. And we will enjoy it.
I'll never look back and be embarrassed we tried to re-institute our traditions. I would be embarrassed if I was sad little NDSU who's bragging about getting it banned, though.

Can you tell me more about the massive amounts of litter FSU's tomahawk chop leaves? Or do they throw tomakawks on the field or at the refs? How about the cameramen?
As a side note, I don't care about the streamers. It isn't about the streamers...it is about what some of your fans are doing...throwing a fit and threatening to not buy concessions, etc. To an outsider, it is funny...and someday you will look back on it and shake your head. Could we be provoked into a similar act of silliness? Pretty sure we could be...but we would also be embarrassed about it later. All in all, this is proving why Frisco loves NDSU.
you guys really are full of yourselves.
Pot, meet Kettle. Say hello. :)
you're on our board pal. we've won 26 in a row and pretty much owned you last year.
how do you expect us to be?

RE: JMU Fans vs NDSU fans
I've heard good things about NDSU fans, but unfortunately about 90% that I've interacted with or observed online have been awful and way more insecure about their program then you would expect them to be.

I'm sorry to hear that NDSU has no traditions. Our QB even said during his press conference after SDSU that the thing he is going to miss most is after scoring a TD, looking up and seeing all the streamers.
As an analogy...has FSU ever made it to the national championship and the NCAA wouldn't let them do the tomahawk chop during the game?
Would 13 Football National Championships quality as tradition?

I said you guys were getting trolled. I did not say I was trolling. If you read it in context, you will see that.
Really nice. You can hurl insults...but if I respond in kind, I'll be the bad guy.
