The stuff you cited was very minor. You actually cited changing numbers in your support. And an assistant coach paying back a visit which only mattered at all because it was an unofficial instead of official visit. Plus that writer has a grudge. Look at the tone ...

Where have you been the last ten years? Kiffin penchant for the unethical has been well documeted, all over TV, ESPN.

It is funny how people that get caught cheating say "oh but it was Minor"

Kiffin sent young women from Tennessee to recruits high school games:
"hostesses traveled nearly 200 miles to attend a high school game in South Carolina in which at least three Tennessee recruits were playing.
Marcus Lattimore, a running back who made an unofficial visit to Tennessee but said he would not enroll there, said multiple Tennessee hostesses attended a game"

Not only did he cheat while recruiting, he also cheated during the games by switching players numbers and deflating footballs, also well documented

Every big time school has pretty girls welcoming recruits. And a lot get more shady than that.

The numbers thing and deflated ball accusations are beyond minor. Changing numbers is a 15 yard penalty. That's it ... Stupid but far from sleazy or serious

The NCAA violations were even termed minor by the NCAA

This could be great news for FAU and C-USA. FAU has bought some time, and insured the Owls will continue to be a contender in the near future. Now they need to focus on turning the FAU job into Kiffin's dream job.

Penn State built their program into a major job while Paterno was there. Florida State built their program into a major job while Bowden was there.
Virginia Tech built their program into a major job while Beamer was there.
Utah built their program into a major job while Meyer was there.
TCU has built their program into a major job under Patternson.

As a conference we should all be focusing on building our programs into major players, but it takes a serious financial commitment. If FAU and a majority of the others within C-USA are willing to do that, this conference will rise. Just my opinion.

I worked with one of the UT hostesses at the center of the whole thing. She was a hostess her senior year of high school at the restaurant I served at through most of undergrad.

Turns out the 10 year agreement was just a verbal understanding and was never signed. The buyout until it gets signed is pretty low.
