Is Santa Clara's Steve Nash in the Hall?
Also "faced" Larry Brown at SMU. But obviously not as a player.

And somehow Rodman is in the Hall.
r
What do you mean somehow? Despite his off the court persona, dude was a straight beast on the court. One of the best defensive players of his era and was an essential part of 5 different championship teams.
MVP awards ? None. He never finished higher than 10th.
Two, (count em) All Star Games.
Without Jordan & Pippen, Rodman is the same as Swen Nater or Dwight Howard or AC Green.
What about the two titles he won with Detroit? He is widely regarded by anyone who has ever followed pro basketball as one of the best defensive players to ever play the game and perhaps the greatest rebounder ever.
LOL. He averaged fewer points and rebounds on those teams than Bill Laimbeer. Maybe we should put John Salley in too because he is funny on TV .
Have a good day with your flawed argument.
I wouldn't say the argument is flawed, just different than yours.
Rodman was a plus defender, even against guys much bigger than him for most of his career, and probably the greatest rebounder statistically in NBA history. He was also a winner. He was also one of the poorer scorers in NBA history. His advanced metrics are all over the place though.
His PER is average for his career(but PER is largely weighted on usage and shooting %)
His WS total is extremely high.
His RB % is through the roof high.(#1 all time)
He's a tough case to figure out in my opinion, and I don't think he is automatically in or automatically excluded when digging into the facts. He was an effective player, he just did things that most don't truly value in the HOF argument.

I'm not disputing that Rodman was a fantastic basketball player. I don't think he is or was Hall of Fame worthy.

RE: Basketball trivia
There are arguments for both sides is my point. I’m not stating either is right or wrong, just something to consider.
