Longhorn - log off this thread right now! 03-lmfao

Anyone else wish we would use more time with a big lead in the second half?

Love the up-speed offense and actually wish it was a little quicker, but once we are up TDs in the second half I wish we would shorten the game running the play clock under 5 seconds.

RE: Anyone else
I was thinking the very same thing. Limiting the number of plays shortens the game. When up by 35 points, you re playing the clock not SDSU.

Also less plays = less chance of injury.

Seems like when we are way up late in games Schor runs more. 03-lmfao

JMU was also passing the ball in the 4th quarter. No need for that. Keep the clock running

Well, there's only so much clock-killing you can do when you get 80-yard td runs on first down.

Use more of the play clock. Don't stop running for TDs. Spend 37 seconds between plays, not 24 seconds.

The worst part about that Cole INT was watching our linemen trying to chase down the guy with the ball. About 4 ACL tears flashed before my eyes. Thank God they all seemed okay.

It's also hard to run down the clock when you can't make a first down with your second team offense.

What a I missing here? We intentionally let the play clock run under 10 seconds almost every play in the 4th quarter.
